UN City Campus 1 opened at Marmormolen in Nordhavn in 2013, bringing several UN organisations together under one roof.

The distinctive building was designed by Danish architecture firm 3XN and is shaped like an eight-pointed star. Its wings extend from a central atrium – a design intended to encourage communication and cooperation across the different UN organisations.

At the heart of the building, a sculptural staircase connects the different floors and serves as a natural meeting point.

You can step inside UN City on a guided tour and learn more about the work of the UN as well as the architecture of the building. Tours are free, last approximately 45 minutes and are usually held in English. Check current tour times and book your spot on the UN City website.
