In Enghaveparken, right in the heart of vibrant Vesterbro, you’ll find a true winter wonderland created by a large and atmospheric ice rink. The Enghaveparken ice rink returned in 2024 after several years of hiatus, and both locals and visitors are delighted that it has once again become a regular and recurring part of the winter season. The park’s beautiful surroundings add a touch of magic to your skating experience, and on the first Sunday of Advent, an extra layer of Christmas spirit appears when Santa himself stops by. Every Friday evening, the rink transforms into an Ice Disco club, where you can sway your hips on skates to music and colorful lights.
Behind this annual tradition are the three friends who run the cozy local café and natural wine bar Enghave Plads 9. When your feet need a well-deserved break from the ice, you can warm up with festive drinks, enjoy freshly baked pastries, taste small snacks, and much more from the café. This is also where you can rent skates if you don’t bring your own.
