Where to eat and drink
Kødbyens Fiskebar was among the first restaurants to break the ground and help transform the Meatpacking District to a foodie haven, and is today accompanied by a vide variety of eateries. These are some of our favourite picks.

Fleisch
Fleisch is a restaurant and bar in the Meatpacking District on Vesterbro. The restaurant is housed in old, authentic butcher’s premises, right in the middle of an area where raw industrial history, vibrant city life, art, bars and restaurants sit side by side.

Gorilla
Copenhagen's Gorilla is a beast of a restaurant residing in old industrial premises in the Meatpacking District of Vesterbro. Restaurant Gorilla is an unpretentious restaurant divided into two areas with a bar area - where you can enjoy a drink or some snacks - and a more classic restaurant area.

Kødbyens Fiskebar
At Fiskebaren it is all about fish and seafood, fresh, healthy, and delicious food and good wines. The atmosphere is informal and the interior is quite rough.

Tommi's Burger Joint
Tommi's Burger Joint in the Meatpacking District of Copenhagen serves you homemade burgers from DKK 69 with crisp fries and cheap drinks.

Prolog Coffee Bar
Only a few coffee bars take the Copenhagen coffee scene to the next level, and Prolog is one of those places. Roastery, café and all-time awesome hang-out in the heart of the bustling Meatpacking District on Vesterbro.

Superbon
Superbon is located in Copenhagen’s Meatpacking District in Vesterbro and is a large, atmospheric restaurant with a focus on Asian cuisine. The menu explores a variety of Asian flavours, with dishes including bao, soft-shell crab, fresh salads with Asian herbs and grilled lobster.
Bars and nightclubs
The Meatpacking District is without a doubt one of Copenhagen's hotspots when it comes to nightlife. On the long, bright summer nights young crowds hang out and have fun outside, in between going from one club to the next.

Mesteren & Lærlingen
One of the Meatpacking District’s oldest and cosiest drinking holes. Sit up close with locals and enjoy draft beer and down-to-earth food, with a daily programme of music and DJs open all week except Sundays.
Where to get your culture fix
The industrial, historic and slightly rough-feeling premises is the perfect backdrop for the contemporary art galleries that made Kødbyen their home when the butchers moved out. Here is a handful you should check out.

Galleri Bo Bjerggaard
Galleri Bo Bjerggaard is located in magnificent, spacious premises in the Meatpacking District of Copenhagen’s Vesterbro area. The space is perfect for exhibiting paintings, which is the gallery’s main focus, among other international contemporary art from Europe and America.
